TRENTON (AP) — Gov. Jon S. Corzine has formally joined a lawsuit that seeks to overturn a federal ban on sports betting in New Jersey and 45 other states.

Roque Azpurua, 18, who is outstanding at every sport he plays and does well academically, recently won the regional Gold Medal for the Hispanic Heritage Youth Award for Sports.
